Keys Per Second

If you are curios about the number of times you press a certain key or other similar statistics, Keys Per Second can provide you with this information. The application keeps track of keystrokes and mouse clicks and it provides various details. You can set it to follow specific keys and make other simple configurations, to make the count as accurate as possible.

Keys Per Second doesn't need to be installed, so you only need to download and run an executable file. It doesn't ask for any special tools or services and it only uses an insignificant amount of resources.

When you launch the application, a compact configurations panel will show up, on which you can tell it what keys to follow and make other settings. The software can monitor anything on your keyboard, as well as any mouse clicks. You can just add the keys you want to monitor in a list, click a button and start typing. Additionally, you can set the application to display or hide certain bits of information.

Once you hit the OK button on the configurations panel, the application will display a series of tiles in the corner of your screen. By default, the tiles indicate the maximum, average and current number of key presses. Additionally, the application will display the number of presses for each defined key and you can also set it to display the evolution of these statistics in a graph.

Right clicking any tile will reveal a series of menus and sub-menus, from which you can enable the aforementioned graphs, reset the counters, change the counter update rate and much more. The best part is that the tiles won't get in your way, so you can work without any distractions. It also has to be mentioned that the neon-style appearance of the tiles is pleasant to look at and it won't distract your attention from other tasks.
